I'm Mohammad Yosefpor, M.Sc. student in physics at Sharif University of Technology. I'm intrested in Quantum Information Theory, Quantum Computation and Quantum Telecommunications.
My family is what concerns me the most in life. Beside academic interests, I enjoy playing chess, practicing Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and bodybuilding.
I did my B.Sc. as a dual degree in physics and electrical engineering-telecommunications, at K. N. Toosi University of Technology in Tehran, with GPAs of 19.03/20 and 18.50/20 respectively, as I ranked 1st among all undergraduate students in both majors. My B.Sc. thesis title was "Applications of classical and quantum information theory to black hole information and black hole quantum channel capacity".
Although I qualifed for studying a Masters in any university in Iran without an entrance exam as an exceptional talented student, I participated in the nationwide university entrance exam in the field of Physics for Masters degree in Iran, where I ranked 3rd among more than 5,000 participants. I chose to continue my eduational career in Sharif University of Technology, the most prestigious university in Iran. I'm currently a masters student at the school of physics in Sharif, considering to pursue my research in the field of quantum information, as I'm so interested in and enthusiast about it.
