Bio:
I consider myself lucky and honored for being mentored by Professor Ganapathy Baskaran from whom I learned about the strong correlation, Mott-Hubbard problem, spin liquids and resonating valence bond picture of Pauling. After completing my PhD, I joined Professor Sadamichi Maekawa's group at Tohoku University as a JSPS post doctoral fellow. At the time, modern condensed matter theory was very young in Iran. So, I eagerly returned to Iran, to contribute to the formation of condensed matter physics in Iran. I spent first few years of my career at Isfahan University of Technology (IUT). In turmoils of Iran, since I was a mobile scientist, I was accused of spying. That caused my first 2 years at Sharif University of Technology (SUT) to be in a pending status. I am pround that I did not give up and persisted.
